Diborane is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula B2H6, and is the simplest borane that can be separated at present. Diborane is a colorless gas at room temperature, can form explosive mixtures with air, and ignite spontaneously in moist air. Very toxic. Diborane has high chemical activity and easily reacts with various inorganic and organic molecules.
