There are three types of neon isotopes – neon 22, neon 20, neon 21, neon isotopes are used in a variety of applications . Ne-22 is used in the production of the medical radioisotope Na-22 . The Ne-20 can be used to produce the F-18 , although the route through the O-18 is by far the most common. Ne-21 has been used in Masers to study quantum physics.
